Children of parents who are employed by the college or who are attending classes are welcome. The director and assistant directors have a 2 year degree in Early Childhood Education, SVCC Human Services curriculum students are employed to supervise and help operate the facility. The center is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Any child who is totally toilet trained, NO pull ups, and two through six years of age is eligible to enroll if space is available. All children will have to have a T.B. test, physical, lead screening, and the Hep.B series.
