HOW

There are eight units in the course. The contents of each unit will be different but the format will be the same--

lecture notes
readings
email assignments (postings to the Agora)
written assignments-- (Click here for more details)
and quizzes.

The only exceptions are the Midterm and Final which take slightly different forms. Activities will include visiting related sites on the Web, and independent research.

Communications between yourself and other students as well as with me take place either through the Agora, email (my email address is at the bottom of many of the HUM 210 webpages), or the MOO.

Grades

Units 1-3 and 5-7 will receive a letter grade that will be worth 5% of the total grade. The remaining 70% will be split between the midterm and final projects, with the midterm worth 30% and the final worth 40%. That is-

Each one of the six units is worth 5% (totaling 30%)

The midterm is worth 30%

The final is worth 40%.
