Legal Office Certificate (B82)

The Legal Office Certificate program is designed to assist students in becoming familiar with terminology, forms, and procedures used in legal offices. Upon completion of this program, students should be able to secure entry-level employment as a legal office employee.

Work and Employment

The office clerk position involves work beyond the typical entry-level position requirements. This type of position often leads to possibilities for advancement within the office setting and provides a framework for continuing education and skill improvement. Legal secretaries prepare legal papers and correspondence and assist legal research.
