Secretarial Certificate (B95)

The Secretarial Certificate program is designed to provide a student with a course of study for entry into the world of business. The program emphasizes specific job skills in typing and shorthand. Work toward the Office and Administrative Services degree can be completed at a future date according to the individual student's need.

Work and Employment

Office employees perform a variety of administrative and record management duties that vary depending on the way office work is handled within the organization. They usually schedule appointments, give information to callers, organize and maintain files, fill out forms, and type letters and reports. Most of the work today is performed with computers.
