Martha Johannsen
Mrs. Martha Johannsen graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in mathematics. She then attended the University of Missouri at Rolla, earning a Master of Science for Teachers degree in 1968. Mrs. Johannsen was employed as a high school mathematics and science teacher at Manlius High School and then at Bureau Valley High School until retiring in 2000. Since 2002, she has been an adjunct mathematics instructor for Sauk Valley Community College. She has taught applied mathematics, college algebra, and trigonometry. Mrs. Johannsen enjoys sewing, gardening, reading, and watching PBS shows on television.
