Picture of Kevin MegillMr. Kevin Megill, Associate Professor of CIS, graduated from University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (with a minor in mathematics). He later attended Purdue University, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences. Along the way he also took mathematics courses in graph theory, combinatorics, set theory and logic. Prior to joining the SVCC faculty, Mr. Megill taught computer science and discrete mathematics at Dickinson State University in North Dakota. Since his arrival at SVCC in 1996, he has taught courses in Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, and College Algebra.

At Sauk, Mr. Megill has served on several college committees including, most recently, the Assessment Committee. He has been a faculty advisor for the Sauk Technology Club and for Campus Crusade for Christ at Sauk. In addition to spending time with his wife and their eight children, he enjoys jazz, interactive fiction (see www.brasslantern.org), chess, and reading about philosophy and theology.
