Mr. Rick Prestley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Education from Northern Illinois University. He teaches a developmental mathematics course, Fundamentals of Arithmetic, on a part time basis at SVCC.
Currently, Mr. Prestley is employed with the School Improvement Division of the Illinois State Board of Education. He has also taught in the elementary grades at East Coloma School in Rock Falls. His wife, Wenda, is employed as a customer service representative at Lee Wayne Corporation in Sterling. Daughter Erin is a senior at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
In his spare time, Mr. Prestley enjoys skiing, sailing, and cycling.
