T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Scholarship Program
T.E.A.C.H. (Teach Education and Compensation Helps) is an educational scholarship program that helps pay for educational cost. It is offered to directors, teachers or teacher aides that are working in child care centers or family child care to further their education in the Early Childhood Education field. College credits can be earned toward a Child Development Associate (CDA), Certified Childcare professional (CPA), an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
T.E.A.C.H. will pay up to 80% of the cost of books and tuition for general education classes and child development classes. The program pays some travel expenses and will pay half of a substitute teacher’s wage so recipients have release time from work to attend classes or study.
