The Skyhawks got off to a fast start and never looked back. Playing their most complete half of the season the Skyhawks led 46-21 when the first half ended. The start of the second half saw the Skyhawk offense inconsistent early but the defense stayed strong until the Skyhawk offense hit stride in the second five minutes to build a 30 point lead halfway through the second half. Strong benchplay maintained the lead the final 10 minutes for the conference victory. Leading the way for the Skyhawks (14-8, 4-2) were shooting guard Kwan Wallerwith 22 points and Rico Combs with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Also in double figures was point guard Robbie Minor with 10 points, 7 assists and only 1 turnover.
