Castaneda Named Region IV Female Athlete of the Year (12-9-2010)

This year the National Junior College Athletic Association, Region IV, awarded their first ever Outstanding Female Cross Country Athlete of the Year award to Victoria Castaneda.

Victoria has been the Region IV individual champion in both 2009 and 2010. She has been an outstanding student athlete for the Sauk Valley Cross Country program. During that time she continued to improve her times ending this year with a personal best time of 19:39 on a 5K course.

Congratulations to Victoria on this great accomplishment.
