Sauk Valley hosted Black Hawk College and came away with a 3-1 win. Scores were 25-18, 25-16, 23-25, and 25-18.
Sauk was led by Kalli Scheppers with 14 kills; Kayla Kurz with 6 kills and 5 kill blocks; Nicole Shaffer with 21 digs; Karly Koch with 32 assists; Mariah Long with 15 points and 2 aces; and Jessica Bonnell with 7 kills and 2 kill blocks.
Sauk improves to 18-10 on the season and 6-4 in the Arrowhead Conference. The Skyhawks will compete in the Prairie State tournament this weekend.
