Purpose:

To assure the safety and well-being of children who reportedly are abused/neglected, determine validity of reported allegations, obtain informaiton to support department decisions in court cases, and coordinate staff to determine the services appropriate, or action needed.

Services: Abuse/Neglect reports, Homemakers/Advocates, Foster placement, Child welfare, Adoption, Licensing, Dependency/Neglect aid for unwed mothers, Group/Institutional foster placement.
