The services offered by KSB's Behavioral Healthcare Services are wide-ranging. The psychiatric program is designed to help those persons who can benefit for short-term psychiatric care. Patients talk about their problems with the staff in individual therapy and to other patients in group sessions. In addition, family, community, work and special interest are blended into a patient's person treatment A Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program is also available. The Counseling Center is also a component of KSB's Behavioral Healthcare Services. This program is designed to meet the social and emotional needs of individuals, couples and families in the Sauk Valley area. A supportive, problem-solving approach is used with all clients. The Counseling Center also offers an Employee Assistance Program, which provides professional care to those employees whose job performance dependence, family discord, other personal problems or any number of other stressful situations.
