Purpose:
In general, to educate, support, enhance and empower healthy individual and family life.
Remarks:
Hours: 8:30AM-7:00PM Monday - Thursday, 8:30AM-5:00PM Fridays, Evenings by appointment.
Services:
+General counseling (persons of all ages): Individual, Couple and Family Therapy with issues such as: divorce, remarriage, depression/anxiety, abuse, self-esteem, stress management, etc.
+ Youth Services (Youth ages 1-17): Individual and Family counseling, 24 hour Crisis Intervention for Runaways/Lockouts.
+School-Based (All school-aged children Pre K-12 (Primary Prevention Students Grade 6-12)): Screenings, education and short-term counseling for students within their schools. Issues such as: Conflict Resolution, Peer Mediation, substance abuse, suicide prevention, self-esteem, etc., Individual and Group sessions, referral and linkage to appropriate services within the communities, K-12 Primary prevention for students.
Eligibility: Services are available to all who are in need regardless of race, religion, or economic status. LSSI has a sliding fee scale, accepts Insurance and Medicaid. School-based and Youth Services are offered at no cost to the client.
