Remarks:

The State of Illinois guarantees victims certain rights under the Illinois Crime Victims' Bill of Rights. The Lee County State's Attorney's Office is committed to providing these rights through the Victim/Witness Program. Victims and Witnesses are vital to the prosecution of people who have committed crimes and many times are unfamiliar with the Criminal Justice System. The Victim/Witness Coordinator acts as a central contact person for victims/witnesses to obtain the information they need.
