Lending Materials: Most books are available for free for a two-week lending period and are renewable. Overdue fine is .05 cents a day. Our audio books are also available for a two-week period (these are renewable). The entire collection rotates quarterly with other participating libraries in our consortium. The overdue fine is .05 cents a day. Videos are available to rent for $1.00 for seven days (these are renewable for seven more days for another $1.00). The overdue fine is $1.00 per day. Periodicals are available for a seven day period (These may be renewed). Interlibrary Loans: If we do not have a title you are looking for, we are able to interlibrary loan it from throughout the state (Colleges and Universities utilizing ILLINET http://pac.ilcso.uiuc.edu/ ). These items are subject to individual library restrictions. If we are unable to locate a title in the state than we may be able to utilize OCLC http://www.oclc.org/oclc/menu/whatis.htm (for a nominal fee). Internet Access/Workstations: The library currently has four workstations with DSL Internet. The workstations are connected via a Local Area Network to a high speed laser printer. There is no fee to access the Internet, but we do charge .15 cents for single sided and .20 cents for a double sided printout (the first five copies are free for school projects). We limit computer time to one hour, and if another patron is waiting, the time limit is thirty minutes. The four public workstations, two staff workstation as well as the wireless LAN that connects them all where purchased in part by an Educate and Automate grant received April 2001. Home Delivery: The library will take requests and deliver materials to patrons within the township who are homebound or who are unable to access the building.
