Purpose:
Provide support, assistance, and counseling for victims of sexual assault and abuse.
Remarks:
Services are also available in Winnegago and Boone Counties. The Crisis Line is available to anyone at anytime. If a victim is in need to some support due to the resurfacing of memories and feelings of the horrible event, confusion and insecurity, or panic. RSAC helps survivors battle the damage inflicted by the event. Dealing with the visible or emotional damage requires a good supportive team experienced in sexual trauma. RSAC is also a great source of support should the victim decide to prosecute the perpetrator. Their knowledge and experience with the legal system helps to prepare the victim for the court process. The RCAS also offers education and professional training for schools, businesses, churches, and social service agencies. There is no charge for ages up to 17, and adults receive 10 free sessions. Legal/medical advocacy and public education are also free of charge.
