Educational Partnership with Clipper Windpower
Sauk Valley Community College has announced an educational partnership with Clipper Windpower. Sauk and Clipper will be developing and co-developing training and testing material that can be used by both parties. Sauk Valley Community College will be offering wind energy and wind energy related courses such as electronics, electricity and hydraulic as well as other college courses to Clipper employees throughout their organization with both on campus as well as internet courses. Sauk Valley was the first partnership with Clipper that has since grown to a three community college partnership. Clipper has donated some equipment to the College for training purposes.
