B.S. Adult Education and M.S. Counseling and Student Personnel, Western Michigan University. Mr. Breed came to Sauk Valley Community College in 1984 from Kalamazoo Valley Community College's International Student Office. He received a Leader of Learners Award in 1992, a National Student Retention Award in 1994 and served as a SACS Accreditation Team Consultant in 1996. Mr. Breed is a presenter and consultant on student retention issues in higher education. His interests include: American and European history, military history, The American Civil War and is a U. S. Naval historian.
