Faculty - Part-time
Sauk Valley Community College seeks innovative individual to teach Adult Education courses for the fall semester. Adult Education instructors teach GED classes (the high school equivalency credential) for adults who did not finish high school and English as a second Language for non-English speaking adult immigrants for classes at the College.
Responsibilities:
Be knowledgeable on the philosophy and objectives of the college and adult education, and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring and teaching each course.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Experience teaching adults, knowledge of adult education, or a degree in education are preferred. The successful candidate will be able to provide verbal/visual presentations and instruction to students. Computer literacy is a must.
