Math Instructor - Adjunct

Faculty - Part-time

Sauk Valley Community College seeks innovative individuals for the following openings for the fall 2013 semester:

MAT 075 - Beginning Algebra - Tuesday and Thursday - 2:00 pm to 3:50 pm

MAT 106 - Applied Mathematics - Monday and Wednesday - 8:00 am to 9:15 am

MAT 121 - College Algebra - Tuesday and Thursday - 6:00 pm to 7:40 pm

Responsibilities:

To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses.  Reports directly to the Dean of Instructional Services who is the supervisor over the position.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and relevant experience teaching Math required; Master's degree in relevant subject and 15 credit hours in Math is preferred.  Experience teaching in a community college environment preferred.
