Shakespeare in the Park

Showings | Ticket Information

This summer SVCC will again team up with the Woodlawn Arts Academy to present Shakespeare in the Park. This year's production will be Romeo and JulietThank you to Savant Capital Management, the title sponsor of this event.

The Show:
Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare's age old tale of two star crossed lovers, is one known to all of us. We read it in high school and have heard it referenced in countless books, movies, and television programs. See this moving tale of love, loss, friendship, family, and hatred this summer outdoors on the backlawn of the Woodlawn Arts Academy. Embrace the romance and experience the heartache along with some of literature and theatre's most famous characters. Young lovers, protective parents, tragedy, comedy, sacrifice, and sword fights- this play has something for everyone.
