'File Management' Computer Workshop Set for April 17

If you have a lot of pictures, music, or files on your computer that you don’t want to lose, Sauk Valley Community College will offer the workshop File Management from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Room 3K2.

Participants will learn to manage their files, review the cut, copy, paste, and rename commands, and how to back up their files to offline storage, like DVD’s, jump drives, and remote storage locations.

Cost for this class is $40. Students may register in Sauk’s Office of Admissions, Room 1J1 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
