Sauk Valley Community College’s Student Parent Association will host the presentation: Empowerment: Breaking the Cycles of Negativity from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday March 18, in Room 2K2. There is no charge to attend and the public is invited.

The presenter will be therapist Margo Myers of Margo Myers and Associates. Myers has extensive background in family and child therapy as well as addictions. A resident of the Sauk Valley area for the past 30 years, Myers holds a master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois.
