20, 2013 8:00 a.m. through 6:00 a.m. Monday, May 28.

File Management Workshop to be Offered Oct. 2

Sauk Valley Community College will offer the computer workshop “File Management” from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 2, in Room 3K2.

For those that have a lot of photos, music, or files they don’t want to lose, this class will show participants how to manage their files using the cut, copy, paste, and rename commands. Backing up files to offline storage like DVDs, jump drive and remote storage locations will also be covered.

Cost for this class is $40. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
