CDL Truck Driving Course Begins Jan. 24
Sauk Valley Community College’s CDL Truck Driving Program has openings for its upcoming four-week class that will begin Monday, January 24. No previous experience is necessary.
Sauk’s truck driver training program combines classroom and hands-on experience that leads to a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with all endorsements.
The course “Commercial Drivers License Regulations” (GSV 100) will meet from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday, January 24, through Friday, January 28. This course prepares students to pass the written commercial driver’s license (CDL) exam.
The second course, “Commercial Vehicle Operation” (GSV 102) will meet from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 2 through Friday, February 4, and Monday, February 7, through Friday, February 18. This course features intense behind-the-wheel instruction.
