Sauk Valley Community College, in cooperation with the Sauk Foundation and Alumni Office, is seeking nominations for the 2011 Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna Award.

The outstanding alumnus (male) or alumna (female) will be honored with a special plaque at Sauk’s Commencement exercise on Friday, May 13.

Selection is based on career achievement and community service. Those who have earned a degree or certificate at least five years ago, or completed a minimum of 24 semester hours at Sauk but are not currently pursuing a degree or certificate at Sauk are eligible. Nominations should include the nominee's name, address, and a brief statement describing why he or she deserves the award.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, April 22.
