ABC AmeriCorps and Illinois Serve will host the Northwest Illinois Volunteerism Conference Fostering Service for All October 7 starting at 8:00 a.m. at Sauk Valley Community College.

The volunteerism conference includes break-out sessions covering a variety of topics to assist those working with volunteers. Participants will also attend a keynote speaker session featuring Eleni Kelakos. Kelakos motivational keynote, Touch the Sky, is a unique combinations of original songs and stories that reflect over 25 years of experience as a professional actor and touring singer/songwriter that inspires people, women in particular, to wake up to their worth and take charge of their lives, both personally and professionally.
