Sometimes grants, scholarships and other financial assistance is just not enough. Student loans provide the opportunity to have additional funds available to the student while in school. You must be in good standing with the Standard of Academic Progress to be eligible for a loan at SVCC. If you are in denial or probation you are not eiligible for a loan unless an appeal has been submitted and approved. Click below to find out more information about student loans.
With the start of the 2009-2010 Academic Year all incoming freshman will be required to use the Direct Loan Process. Direct Loans are processed through SVCC with the Federal Government. Your will use the processes below to process your request. Instead of selecting a lender you will select Direct Loan for your lender. You will be required to complete a Master Promissory Note with the federal government using the connection supplied in the loan process.
