SVCC Success Programs

    Peer Mentor Program
The SVCC Peer Mentoring Program is designed to provide assistance and support to students who may feel unsure of the college experience.  Students will be matched with a veteran student who shares a similar background or major.  The peer mentor will provide students with a better understanding of college expectations, share information on classes in that major, and give the student a realistic perspective from someone who has been in their shoes and understands their concerns.

Student Success Workshops
These FREE monthly workshops provide students with ways to improve their study skills, time management skills, organizational skills, and professional development.  For a listing of this semester's workshops, click here.

Start Smart at Sauk
By attending SVCC's new student orientation, students will become familiar with the Sauk campus and student services, gain insight on what life is like at Sauk, and learn the steps they need to take to be a successful student.

Student Success Sessions
These sessions are designed to help students identify their learning strengths as well as understand how to improve their learning deficiencies. A learning plan is created to assist the student in accomplishing his/her educational goals.
