The Board has legal authority to act when in regular or special meetings. Unless otherwise delegated or appointed, the Board Chair serves as the spokesperson for the Board. A majority of the full membership of the Board, excluding the Student Trustee, constitutes a quorum. When a vote is taken on any measure before the Board, a quorum being present, a majority of the votes of the members, excluding the Student Trustee, voting on the measure determines the outcome of that measure.
