Welcome to MUS 201.

The first thing you need to do is register for the WebCT portion of this course. Click on the WebCT text on the previous page to read about WebCT and how it works. Some materials (except textbook and CD selections), all assignments and tests, and most related sites for the course will be found there.

The second thing you should do is read the introduction and  the Syllabus (found on WebCT).  All questions should be answered by these two pages. However, if a question or problem arises, use the contact information on the Contact page to get ahold of me. I almost always get back to a student within 24 hours.

This course is an anytime/anywhere course, which means you need to be very self-motivated and self-disciplined as you will be working on your own. You have until the end of the semester to turn all assignments and tests in but--  students always get better grades if they follow the suggested schedule (found on WebCT).

Finally--get in the habit of printing off any email instructions you may get regarding the course. Often times questions crop up later in the semester that were answered in an earlier email.
