Computer Information Systems: Networking Administration

(B39) Certificate

The Networking Administration certificate consists of a core of courses which provide job entry skills in the area of computer networks. This certificate can also be the foundation for advancement to higher level positions in an expanding field. Instruction includes hands-on system experience.

Work and Employment

Employers in the networking field are involved in the installation, use and maintenance of computer networks. They may set up the physical infrastructure for a network and use network operating systems to administrate and maintain network services, ranging from LANs to Internet services.
