11-29-2008 - Kennedy-King

W 75-69

Unlike their last game against South Suburban the Skyhawks had a hard time finding rim against Division I rival Kennedy-King shooting only 41% from the field. But another strong defensive effort saw the Skyhawks create 12 steals and hold Kennedy-King without a 3 pointer in the second half to secure the six point victory. This time on offense, the Skyhawks used a balanced attack putting five players in double figures led by Robbie Minor and Kwan Waller with 13 points each. The Skyhawks also took advantage of their free throw skills shooting 18-23 (78.3%) from the line to lock the victory away late in a big Region IV win.
