The Skyhawks bounced back with a strong performance to back their 2 game losing streak and heat a strong Kishwaukee team 80-71 to go to 3-1in the Arrowhead Conference and 13-6 overall. Solid defense was the key to theSkyhawk victory, holding Kishwaukee to 34 points in the first half to lead by10 at half 44-34. Kishwaukee out the lead to six in the second half but couldget no closer as the Skyhawk defense continued to shine. Offensively theSkyhawks were inconsistent, shooting 44% from the field and turning the ballover 19 times to keep the game close in spite of the strong defensive effort.Four Skyhawks were double figures led by Kwan Waller 18 points and Robbie Minorfollowed with 16 points.
Rico Combs puttogether another double- double with 15 points and 12 points while DJ Williamsadded 14. On the defensive side Kwan Waller and Robbie Minor each had foursteals.
