The Skyhawks returned to conference action on Tuesday with a road trip to Kishwaukee. The Skyhawks played a strong game especially on the defensive end holding the Cougars to 64 points for the game. On the offensive side Sauk had a solid second half scoring 40 points to take control of the game and secure an eleven point victory 73-64. The Skyhawks, Kyle Henkel and D'Angelo Stewart had strong games off the bench combining for 12 rebounds and solid defense to help secure the victory. The Skyhawks had balanced scoring with four players in double figures, led by Rico Combs with 19 points. Robbie Minor, DJ Williams, and Kwan Waller were also in double figures with 14, 13, and 12 points respectively. Starting guards Robbie Minor and Kwan Waller combining for 11 assists to lead Sauk Valley in that area as the Skyhawks improved to 18-9 overall and 8-2 in the Arrowhead Conference.
