Sauk Makes it Possible — You Make it Happen

01-17-15 Kennedy King

L 58-60

The Skyhawks had to go without shooting wing Krystal James who had sprained a ankle late in the Highland game.  The Skyhawks trailed by three at the half 29-26.  The second half was a barn burner as the lead went back and forth right to the end before the Skyhawks failed to score the final time they had the ball and the Lady Statesmen prevailed 60-58.  The Skyhawks put four players in double figures led by Jordan Giddings with 17 pts.  but they struggled from the field shooting only 28.8%  and only 20% from the three (7-35).  The Skyhawks (16-5, 3-0) have only one games this week as they travel to Kewanee to take on Black Hawk East on Thursday (Jan 22) in a Arrowhead Conference matchup starting at 5:30.
