Against College of Lake County six out of the seven Skyhawks scored in the first quarter to build a 16-9 lead. However, it was the second quarter that the Skyhawks were able to seperate themselves. They outscored Lake County 18-1. The Skyhawks played great defense and rebounded extremely well. The second half saw the Skyhawks continue to play team ball while outscoring Lake County 32-22. Hailey Walter let the way in scoring with 24 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds. Both Alejandra Padilla and Jenna Johnson finished the night with double doubles as well, Jandra with 10 points and 11 rebounds and Jenna with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Josie Rank did a great job on defense harassing Lake County's top scorer into a 3-20 night shooting. Overall a terrific team win and a confidence booster for the Skyhawks.
