Skyhawks Announce Academic Award Winners
Thirty two Sauk Valley Community College student-athletes earned Arrowhead Conference All-Conference Honors for the 2017-18 academic year. To qualify for the distinction, the student-athlete must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher during the fall and spring semesters. Those individuals are:

Cooper Kilberg of the men’s Baseball team and Kylie Burkett of the women’s Tennis team were awarded the Bob Bopp Award by the Arrowhead Conference for earning the school’s highest individual GPA for the academic year.
At Sauk Valley, the Volleyball and Tennis teams tied for the highest team GPA among the 5 women’s sport with a 3.21 GPA. The baseball team carried the highest men’s GPA with a 2.69 GPA, also among 5 men’s sports.
