Softball Coach Bob Lowe

Coach Bob LoweThis will be the Skyhawks’ fourth season under Coach Lowe. Last year the Skyhawks’ won their second Regional IV Championship under Lowe and finished tied for a seventh place in the National NJCAA Tournament. Coach Lowe received his second Region IV Coach of Year in 2013. Sauk is 118-47 over the previous three seasons under Coach Lowe.

Since Lowe has been the coach at Sauk the Skyhawks have won the Arrowhead Conference twice, won the Region IV tournament twice and have consistently been ranked in the top twenty DII national rankings. Coach has been giving lessons and coaching fastpitch softball for over a decade.

Lowe and his wife Camille, have four children, Carin, Colleen (Skyhawks Head Assistant), Rebecca, and his son Daniel. All three of his own daughters played college softball. Lowe is alumni of Kishwaukee College, has a Bachelors of Science from SIU Carbondale, a Master Degree of Education and a Jurist Doctorate from NIU College of Law.

Assistant Softball Coach Colleen Lowe

This is Colleen’s first year as the Head Assistant at Sauk. Colleen had a very successful college career as player. She played her freshman year at NCAA DIII power house Luther College. That year Luther advanced to the college world series. She played her remaining three years at third base for UW Platteville with all conference awards each season, as well as leading her team in RBI’s and Homeruns. Colleen was also a Academic All American.  Colleen has coached ASA for three years and will now take all her playing and coaching knowledge to the Skyhawks.

Colleen is the daughter of Head Coach Bob Lowe and he is very excited to have the opportunity to coach with her.
