2014-15 Softball Team Outlook

The Skyhawks intend to continiue their winning ways and will pursue their third conference and third regional championship in five years. The 2014-15 squad returns six very talented and determined sophomore players, including:

Stephanie Kester (Sterling), Priscilla Aponte (Sterling), Mackenzie Staples (Sterling) Allison Naujokas (Hoffman Estates), Natalie Brown (East Moline), and Sydney Johnson (Davis Junction).

The Skyhawk freshman group is loaded with local and international talent, including: Kelly Christman (Mendota), Paige Erin Reynolds (Rock Falls), Sylvia Elliot (Machesney Park), Maddison Zemba (Davenport, IA), Lindsey Costliow (DeKalb), Leah Gorham (Belvidere), Taylor Wagler (Woodstock, Canada) and Riley Lanham (Rushville, IN).

These freshman recruits are working hard and learning fast about what is necessary to continue on with the expectations of a successful program. The Skyhawks will begin their quest for a conference championship on the road against Carl Sandburg, March 24, 2015.
