The Skyhawks had a big day on Tuesday and only part of it was on the field.  The Skyhawks took on Black Hawk and dominated the first game 14-0 with Stephanie Kester going 4 for 4 from the plate and allowed only 1 hit in her three innings on the mound. Game two was a much closer game but again the Skyhawks prevailed this time 4-2 for their sixth straight win.  Taylor Wagler pitched all seven innings for Sauk Valley in the victory.  The two win clinched the ARROWHEAD CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP for the Skyhawks who finished conference action with an outstanding 17-2 record!  Also on Tuesday the Skyhawks received their first NATIONAL RANKING OF THE SEASON as they were  ranked 13th in the NJCAA National Division II Softball poll for this week.  Way to Go Skyhawks!!!
