Game 1

SVCC Skyhawks lost 4-13 to St. Ambrose on Sunday, despite a total of seven hits.

Jenny Lawson boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 1-1 day at the plate to pace SVCC Skyhawks. She singled in the third inning.

#7, #12, #28 and #11 helped lead St. Ambrose. They combined for eight hits and five RBIs.

SVCC Skyhawks jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Leah Gorham singled to ignite SVCC Skyhawk's offense. Riley Lanham doubled, bring home Lawson. 

St. Ambrose went up for good in the second, scoring two runs on a two-run single by #3. 

St. Ambrose tacked o0n another four runs in the third. A clutch error scored #25 to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by #11's single, plating #5.

SVCC Skyhawks scored three runs in the top of the fourth to cut its deficit to three. An RBI single by Alexandrea Sterenberg, a hit by pitch, and a groudout by Erin Newbury fueled SVCC Skyhawk's comeback. FInally, #28 got Gorham to ground out to end the threat.

St. Ambrose added six more runs in the bottom of the fifth. A error scored #28 to get St. Ambrose on the board in the inning. 

Game 2

SVCC Skyhawks lost 0-11 to St. Ambrose Sunday Despite Lindsey Costilow's two-hit day at the dish.

St. Ambrose's #3, #25, #11 and #8 combined for six hits and six RBIs.

St. Ambrose didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two rns in the first inning when it scored on a two-run double by #12

St. Ambrose pushed across four runs in both the second inning and the fourth. In the second, St. Ambrose scored on a two-run triple by #8, scoring #3 and #9.
