Game 1

SVCC Skyhawks and Illinois Valley CC each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, But SVCC Skyhawks capitalized on more RBI opprotunities, pulling out 6-5 win.

Illinois Valley CC had 12 hits compared with SVCC Skyhawks's seven, but Illionis Valley CC stranded 12 runners on base.

SVCC Skyhawks held off Illinois Valley CC , as Illionois Valley CC was unable to overcome a four-run fourth Inning deficit.

Illinois Valley CC scored on a single by Herrmann in the fifth inning and an RBI double by Tjaden and an RBI double by Murray in the sixth inning. Still, Illinois Valley CC couldn't catch SVCC Skyhawks.
Illinois Valley CC jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. The Illinois Valley CC attack began with a double from Korsan. A groudout by Herrmann then moved Korsan from second to third. May singled. scoring Korsan.

SVCC Skyhawks went up for good in the second, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Fallan Warnken and a single by Leah Gorham

SVCC Skyhawks Matched its tow-run thrid inning with two more in the fourth. In the third, SVCC Skyhawks scored on a two-run error, plating Jenny Lawson and Molly Johnson.

Game 2

Molly Johnson did all she could to give SVCC Skyhawks a boost, but it wasn't enough to ge past Illinois Valley CC, as SVCC Skyhawks lost 7-11 in seven innings on Tuesday.

Johnson was hot from the plate for SVCC Skyhawks. Johnson went 2-3 and scored two runs. She singled in the third and seventh innings. 

The top of the first saw Illinois Valley CC take an early lead, 2-0. The Illinois Valley CC attack began with a single from Tjaden. Then moved Tjaden from first to second. Murray singled, plating Tjaden. The scoreboard lit up again for Illinois Valley CC when Miller scored on an RBI double by Korsan.

Illinois Valley CC pushed one run across in each of the third, fifth, and sixth. In the third, Illinois Valley CC scored on a groundout by Ellis, scoring Miller.

It didnt take long for SVCC Skyhawks to respond as it scored four runs of its own in the third. SVCC Skyhawks scored on a two-run error and an RBI double by Julie Dodd.

Illinois Valley CC went up for good in the fourth, scoring six runs on an error and a two-run single by Korsan.

Three runs in the bottom of the seventh helped SVCC Skyhawks close its deficit to 10-7. A passed ball and a two-run double by Lindsey Costilow sparked SVCC Skyhawk's rally. Finally, Ellis got Dodd to ground out ot end the game.
