Game 1

SVCC Skyhawks fell 8-1 to College Of DuPage as #16 threw a no-hitter on Sunday.

No SVCC Skyhawks batter was able to locate #16's pitches during the game. #16 threw a no-hitter, striking out three batters and walking one. She got Erin Newbury to ground out for the final out of the game. 

College Of DuPage was sparked by #11 and #22, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs. 

College Of DuPage didn't relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the fourth inning when it scored on.

College Of DuPage piled on five or more runs in the top of the sixth. #6 kicked things off with a single, bringing home #16 and #5. That was followed up by #11's double, plating #14 and #6. 

SVCC Skyhawks scored its only run of the game on an error in the sixth inning.

Game 2

Leah Gorham went 2-3, but SVCC Skyhawks still fell to College Of DuPage 8-3 in seven innings on Sunday.

College Of DuPage jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the third. #3 doubled to ignite College Of DuPage's offense. A stolen base then moved #3 from second to third. #5 singled, scoring #3.

College Of DuPage went up for good in the fifth, scoring six runs on a two-run double by #13, two hit into a fielder's choices, a groundout by #9, and an RBI single by #11.

After pushing acroos two runs in the bottom of the sixth, SVCC Skyhawks faced just a 7-3 deficit. An RBI double by Gorham and a groundout by Lindsey Costilow triggered SVCC Skyhawk's comeback. Julie Dodd to end the SVCC Skyhawks threat.
