10-18-14 - Rock Valley Tournament

W 3-2, W 3-0

Sauk Valley continued their tournament at Rock Valley today, and came away with 2 wins.  In the first match, they defeated Kalamazoo CC in 5 sets 20-25, 25-17, 17-25, 25-9 & 17-15.  SVCC was led by Jordan Giddings with 14 kills, Kristyn Kasner with 13 kills, Kiarra Harris with 10 kills and 4 kill blocks, Bri Correa with 16 digs, Haley McAuliffe with 19 assists and Kayci Howell with 18 assists.

In the 2nd match the Skyhawks defeated Harper (ranked # 4 in NJCAA DIII) 3-0 by scores of 26-24, 25-19 & 25-21.  Sauk was led by Jordan Giddings with 10 kills, Kiarra Harris and Kristyn Kasner with 9 kills, Morgan Mammosser with 26 digs, Kayci Howell with 20 assists and Haley McAuliffe with 16 assists.

With the win, Sauk has won 10 matches in a row and are now 27-6.  Tuesday, they host Arrowhead Conference co-leader Black Hawk East for Sophomore night.
