The top two teams in the Arrowhead Conference squared off tonight as Sauk Valley hosted Black Hawk East for Sophomore Night.   Sauk Valley won in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-15 & 25-18 to move into sole possession of first place in the conference at 7-2 with one match to play.   

Leaders for the Skyhawks were Jordan Giddings with 17 kills; Kiarra Harris with 9 kills and 2.0 kill blocks; Kristyn Kasner with 8 kills; Bri Correa and Morgan Mammosser with 17 digs; Kayci Howell with 22 assists and Haley McAuliffe with 15 assists.

Sauk (28-6 overall)  travels to Carl Sandburg tomorrow night with a chance to clinch their first Arrowhead Conference title since 1992.
