W 3-1

The Skyhawks opened Arrowhead Conference play at home against Black Hawk.

The first game the Skyhawks struggled with their focus and lineup changes due to a couple of nagging injuries and fell behind early, caught up and then fell in extras 29-31.

The loss got the Skyhawks' attention and for the next three sets losing wasn't an option as the Skyhawks dominated play 25-12, 25-20, and 25-15.

Leading the way for the Skyhawks were Bailey O'Brien with 16 kills and 16 digs, Kacey Koch with 30 assist, and Tressa Schuler with 13 kills, 17 digs, and 12 assist.

The Skyhawks next game is September 7 at Carl Sandburg before they return home on the 13th to take on Illinois Valley.

Go Skyhawks!!
