The Skyhawks competed in the Waubonsee Region IV Invite on Friday and Saturday and came away with a 4-0 sweep.

First on Friday, the Skyhawks defeated Elgin in straight sets 25-13, 25-23, and 25-12.  In match 2 the Skyhawks took on the NJCAA 14th ranked McHenry County College and defeated the Scots in four sets 25-13, 15-25, 25-18, and 25-20.

Sauk Valley, currently ranked 18th by the NJCAA, was led by Tressa Schuler with 36 kills and 18 digs, Bailey O'Brien with 13 kills, 22 digs, and 7 aces, and Samantha Soddy with 35 assists.

Day two saw the Skyhawks defeat host Waubonsee 25-17, 25-13, and 25-13 and then finish the weekend with a 25-5, 25-8, and 25-6 victory over Oakton.

On Friday Sauk Valley travels to  Augustana and then on Saturday they stay in the Quad Cities for the St. Ambrose Invite.
