Sauk Valley, rated #9 in the NJCAA poll released today hosted IVCC tonight and came away with a straight set win by scores of 25-16, 25-12 & 25-10.Leaders for the Skyhawks were Bailey O'Brien with 13 kills and 11 digs; Sommer Rhea with 9 kills and 9 digs; Hannah Peterson with 8 kills; Gwem :Lohr-Fandel with 5 kills and 12 digs; Mackenzie Skoumal with 4 kills and 2 kill blocks; Tori Smoode with 2 kills and 2 kill blocks; Kacey Koch with 17 assists and 8 digs; and Paige Conner with 15 assists.
Sauk moves to 19-3 on the season and 6-0 in Arrowhead Conference play. They return to action tomorrow as they host Kankakee at 6pm.
